Out of all the electric head shavers on the market, the Remington F5790BXLP has one of the most aesthetically pleasing designs. It has a sleek black casing with chrome accents and an ergonomic handle. The hair shaver sits in a charging stand when not in use, keeping it off the counter and charged at the same time. We appreciate it when everything has a place – it prevents clutter.

At the bottom of the Remington F5790BXLP, you’ll notice what looks like a fuel gauge. This is simply the battery charge indicator. When it looks like it is full of gas, the battery is 100-percent charged. To charge the electric razor, you only need to set it in its stand for five minutes. If you want to completely charge the unit, it's best to give it the full charge time of two hours for a total runtime of 60 minutes. The quick, five-minute charge results in a much shorter runtime. The good news is that you can use this electric head shaver either plugged in or cordless, you choose.

Travel for a living? Not a problem. The Remington F5790BXLP has worldwide voltage capabilities that should be compatible with any outlet you encounter. There is even a pop-up trimmer for those times on the go when you just need a quick trim. The pop-up trimmer is actually built into the back of the shaver.

The Remington F5790BXLP’s pivoting head and titanium flexing foils make for a pretty smooth shave. Because the shaver’s head pivots, it can curve and follow the planes of your head. The foils, three of them, are extremely flexible, reaching deep to capture all of those stray hairs, preventing ingrown hairs and ensuring the closest shave possible.

A two year warranty is included with this bald head shaver, and there are several ways to contact the manufacturers. There is a support phone number and an email address, and the company is connected to users through social media outlets.

We are impressed with the Remington F5790BXLP electric hair shaver. Not only is it powered by a rechargeable battery, but you can use it plugged in as well. It would be the perfect travel companion because it is compact, includes a hair trimmer, has a quick charge setting and is compatible with most international voltage requirements. Most importantly, it has three flexible foils that work hard to make sure your head is baby smooth.
