Bissell CleanView OnePass: Features

The Bissell CleanView OnePass has a nice cleaning path of 12 inches, which is about average when compared with other products. While you can cover a lot of ground in a relatively short time, this vacuum isn't the most powerful you can buy, but it is good at picking up pet hair and is good value for money.

The Bissell CleanView comes with OnePass technology but despite its name, this vacuum does require a bit more effort to get the floor sparkling clean. Its brush roll has been designed to collect everything in its path, and it does an acceptable job of this.

This vacuum is bagless and is corded, so you won't need to worry about waiting to charge your vacuum as you would with the Dyson V11 Torque Drive. At well under $100, this vacuum is also considerably cheaper than other models we reviewed.

What we did like about this model is its Scatter-Free Technology, which is very handy on hardwood floors where bits of dirt, dust, and small debris can often escape the path of the vacuum.

The brush design also works by rotating to penetrate suction deeper into the carpet before dirt is collected in the removable dirt tank. Once emptied, it's also possible to wash the foam tank filter to maintain the vacuum to the highest standards.

The 25-foot power cord for the Bissell CleanView is around average length for a corded vacuum cleaner, but the dust tank is bigger than most so this will save you having to empty out your vacuum too often.

The Bissell CleanView is also complete with a two-year warranty for added peace of mind.

Bissell CleanView OnePass: Performance

The performance of the Bissell CleanView One Pass vacuum was hurt by the lack of maneuverability. It only moves back and forth and is extremely clunky around corners. You can vacuum with the handle close to the ground, however, which allowed us to push the vacuum far under a console, but other tight areas were more challenging. If you need a vacuum that's super easy to maneuver, head to our Miele Compact C1 Pure Suction SCAE0 vacuum review.

Fortunately, this vacuum has a nice selection of accessories like an extension wand, upholstery tool, dusting brush, and a crevice tool. It also has a hose you can attach some of these tools to for vacuuming stairs and under furniture. You can keep these attachments organized and within reach when you need them since there are storage nodules on the body of the machine.

The Bissell CleanView is extremely easy to empty and clean, which isn’t always the case. The clean filter indicator is a nice feature to let you know when it’s time to spend a little extra time cleaning the interior of the machine.

Bissell CleanView OnePass: User reviews

User reviews for the Bissell CleanView are a little mixed. Some more negative reviews state that the vacuum isn't great for reaching behind couches and vacuuming the stairs, because of the short suction tube.

Some users note that the On/Off switch was placed awkwardly and the height settings don't make a huge amount of difference as they are all pretty similar.

More positive reviews suggest this vacuum is great as long as you continue to clean it and maintain it. Its suction is fantastic for pet hair and the Bissell Cleanview performs well on carpets.

Should you buy the Bissell CleanView OnePass?

If you're looking for a vacuum that has all the fancy features and mind-blowing suction, then the Bissell CleanView OnePass will leave you disappointed. What this vacuum does deliver on though, is affordability and decent enough quality to clean up pet hair and debris on carpets.

For its price, the Bissell CleanView offers great value for money.
