3D Landscape for Everyone is a small program for those who want to jot down some basic landscape thoughts and see how they look in relationship to a basic house. Though entertaining at first, the program has little to offer the serious landscape planner. There are much more advanced products on our Landscaping Software Review.

3D Landscape for Everyone is a simple program, so it’s easy to learn and takes just minutes for even the novice to master.

The strength of this software is that it allows you to manipulate drawing objects easily by cutting, copying, pasting, rotating and then viewing in 3D.

But 3D Landscape for Everyone does not allow you to import digital photos of your home to design an integrated landscape. Instead, you must choose from eight predefined home styles; you also can’t design a home or even the exterior of a home with the program.

This product offers a smaller plant selection (fewer than 100) than other landscape design programs, which offer thousands.

No plant encyclopedia is included with the program and there isn’t a zone hardiness map.

You can choose a home design then add landscape objects, such as trees, shrubs, flowers, fences or pools. 3D View allows you to see your creation rotating on the screen. You can also add Christmas lights and snow and switch to nighttime view for added fun.

You can email your 3D image or print it.

The 3D Landscape for Everyone Getting Started section gives instructions for main screens. The program is simple to read, follow and navigate.

3D Landscape for Everyone is not for those who want to take a picture then design a landscape around it. This is a simple 3-D image manipulation program; the landscaping results aren't realistic or impressive.
