The Ninja Foodi AG301 Indoor Grill and Air Fryer may be the most expensive option in our round up of the best indoor grills, but it’s for good reason. Not only does it expand your cooking options with the included air fryer functionality, but the grill itself offers excellent searing, reaching up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. It can even match the BTU cooking power of an outdoor grill, so it’s a viable option for serious grillers who are either looking for a quicker option or something they can use year-round without setting off any smoke alarms.

Overall, the Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill and Air Fryer offers a great grilling experience and combines it with an air fryer that expands the cooking capabilities so you can grill, air fry, bake, roast, and dehydrate from one appliance.

Ninja Foodi AG301 Indoor Grill and Air Fryer: Pricing and value

At $230, the Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill and Air Fryer is a pricey option. It’s $200 more than our top budget option, the George Foreman GR340FB, but it does have a lot more cooking functionality as well as higher specifications on the grill itself. While it’s not as compact, making space for single purpose items can be tricky in small spaces so the extra functionality does make it worth the extra space it takes up.

Whereas some of the more affordable indoor grills require you to choose between great grilling power and cooking versatility, the Hamilton Beach 25361 and Cuisinart Griddler respectively, the Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill and Air Fryer offers both in one package. It can reach 500 degrees Fahrenheit for fantastic searing on the grill and it can also air fry, bake, roast and dehydrate food too.

Ninja Foodi AG301 Indoor Grill and Air Fryer: Features

As a pricey indoor grill, you would expect the Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill and Air Fryer to offer both quality and a great range of features, both of which it delivers. It’s designed for versatility, allowing you to grill and air fry, as well as bake, roast and dehydrate too. It is on the bulky side, so it’s great that it’s not a single purpose cooker. It is on the heavier side at 11kg, so it might not be the best option if you’re looking for a grill you can keep bringing in and out of storage, if that’s a priority take a look at the much lighter DeLonghi Perfecto Healthy Indoor Grill.

The Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill and Air Fryer doesn’t sacrifice grill quality for versatility either. Its Cyclonic Grilling Technology circulates 500 Fahrenheit air rapidly around food for fantastic surround searing, while the high-density grill produces those signature grill marks with next to no smoke. For outdoor grilling fans, this indoor grill will produce some of the closest results to an outdoor grill you will find on the market at the moment. It even has the BTU cooking power of an outdoor grill.

This grill does have removable dishwasher safe parts, but does require some spot cleaning too.

Ninja Foodi AG301 Indoor Grill and Air Fryer: User reviews

Users love the Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill and Air Fryer, scoring it an average of 4.7 out of 5. Many users complimented its versatility, with one noting that they had used their oven far less since purchasing this indoor grill and a few more noting that they use it almost every day. They love both the grill and the air fryer, noting that it’s quick to cook and produces beautifully crispy food.

A few users have had problems with the non-stick coating, finding that it had started to peel even after careful use and cleaning.

Should you buy the Ninja Foodi AG301 Indoor Grill and Air Fryer?

While the Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill and Air Fryer is quite a bit more expensive than other grills on the market, the extra cost is worth it if you want a great grill that is more than a single use item. It’s also a good option for enthusiastic outdoor grill cooks who are looking for something that can tide them over during the colder months.

However, if you only want to grill there are other options that will do the job well and save you a lot of money. The DeLonghi Perfecto Healthy Indoor Grill is only $65 and much more compact too, so it’s great for easy storage. Alternatively, the Hamilton Beach 25361 is similarly priced and offers great searing power too.
