Real Flame G8600E-W Silverton: Features

This eye-catching fireplace with its bright white surround has a ton of great features. For a start, there’s a programmable thermostat that the majority of electric fireplaces don’t have. Along with the thermostat, there are five brightness level settings for the flame effect and what the manufacturer calls ‘ultra bright’ LED technology, meaning whatever setting you have it on, the amber-colored flame effect is going to pack a punch.

This model is available in three color options: bright white, as shown in the picture, as well as with a black finish and a cherry-mahogany option, so you have three options to suit your décor and personal taste. Be warned, though, that the white is truly a bright white – the stuff of epiphanies – not an off-white.

Real Flame G8600E-W Silverton: Performance

Its 1400-Watt heater puts out around 4,700 BTUs per hour, so it heats up efficiently and cost-effectively. You can set the timer and leave it on when  go to sleep, knowing it’ll switch itself off while you’re in the middle of a nice dream about being cocooned.

The fireplace adequately heats a space of up to 400 square feet pretty quickly, too. You can also use the flame effect without needing to use the heat, so it’s a great option if you live in a warmer climate and really just want the fireplace add a touch of glamour in your living space. It does come in several different finishes if you find the white finish a bit on the clinical side.
