Pros / This service has low, flat-rate service fees.
Cons / You can’t sell tickets with this service.
Verdict / Coast to Coast Tickets isn’t the best place to start your search, but its low service fees make it a good place to compare prices and ticket availability.
Coast to Coast Tickets has consistently low service fees compared to other secondary online concert ticket sites we reviewed. We searched for tickets to a nationally touring symphony and pop band, as well as a regionally touring performance at a smaller local venue. Coast to Coast Tickets imposed an 18-percent service fee and $15 ground-shipping fee for all those events.
The site’s ticket prices were a bit higher than they were at the best services we reviewed, including StubHub and Vivid Seats. However, the prices are variable based on which broker is selling the tickets. You can’t use this service to sell concert tickets unless you are a verified ticket broker.
This service focuses on selling tickets and is short on most of the convenience features we looked for. You won't find a rewards program for frequent buyers, gift cards or a mobile app for buying tickets on the go. Further, it doesn’t support price alerts, which is a nice option if you’re on a budget and willing to take a chance that tickets in your price range will come available.
Coast to Coast Tickets has some interactive venue maps, so you can see available seats when you click on a section. You can also sort results by row, quantity or price.
There's a special search filter for e-tickets, which are especially convenient because you can print them from home. The fee for e-tickets is higher than with other services but not excessively so. This site doesn’t have a will call option nor does it sell paperless tickets, which let you use your credit card as your ticket.
Coast to Coast Tickets’ customer support options are limited. We contacted its support staff by email to ask a few questions and received no response. We did get in touch with a representative over the phone, but they were unable to answer simple questions about site security and how the brokers are vetted.
If you want the lowest service fees possible, Coast to Coast Tickets is your best bet. However, once you make a purchase, it offers very little in the way of customer support, and it has few ordering conveniences. The ticket prices were a bit higher than on the best concert ticket sites we reviewed, but it is worth browsing Coast to Coast Tickets to compare prices and check seat availability, especially if you are searching for tickets to a sold-out show.
