Pros / The website is easy to navigate.
Cons / Its ticket prices and service fees are higher than those at most services we reviewed.
Verdict / Razorgator is a good option if you are searching for tickets to a sold-out concert.
Razorgator is part of the secondary concert ticket market, providing a good connection for buyers and sellers of all sorts of tickets. The website is easy to use and very secure, but its high fees and lack of features keep it from being one of the best online concert ticket services we reviewed. The flat-rate, 25-percent service fee is one of the highest we encountered.
Razorgator has an easy-to-use, intuitive concert ticket website. The concert page has all the info you need to find tickets, including a schedule of concerts in your area, a list of top bands in the sidebar, banners for top performers and an alphabetical listing. You can search by artist, city or ZIP code and narrow down your event by selecting a specific calendar month or designating a search area.
This online concert ticket service incorporates interactive seating charts. Once you chose your concert and start browsing the ticket listings, you can mouse over various sections in the venue to see seat availability and price ranges. When you click on a section, the site sorts the ticket listings with that section on top. You can also sort listings by row, price or quantity available. On average, we found the ticket prices for popular concerts to be on the high end compared to comparable seats offered on other sites, and Razorgator has some of the highest service fees.
Selling your tickets through Razorgator is hassle-free because you don’t ever have to deal directly with the buyer, and listing is free. Razorgator charges a 15-percent commission fee when your tickets sell and provides a pre-paid, pre-addressed shipping label for you to send the tickets to the purchaser. Not only does this eliminate shipping fees for the seller, but it also gets the tickets to the buyer quickly and securely. You can adjust your prices at any time, so you can lower them if you notice your tickets aren’t selling. StubHub only charges a 10-percent selling fee, but you have to pay to ship physical tickets.
Razorgator has higher-than-average service fees and ticket prices, but the website and mobile app are easy to navigate. This service is a good place to compare prices and seating availability against some of the other secondary broker sites we reviewed.
