Bosch 800 Series HEI8046U Electric Range: What you need to know

The Bosch 800 Series HEI8046U Electric Range comes in two different colors, stainless steel, and black stainless steel (the black option is more expensive).

The capacity of this cooker is 4.6 cubic feet, a pretty average size for an electric range, although there are larger capacities out there within the same price range.

On the cooktop of this Bosch model, you’ll find five elements, one of which can be used at either six or nine inches. Aside from the normal oven area, this cooker has a warming drawer to keep food at the perfect temperature before serving.

Bosch 800 Series HEI8046U Electric Range: Design & features

  • Slide in
  • 30 inches
  • 4.6 cubic feet capacity
  • Self-cleaning feature
  • 1-year warranty

As with many electric ranges, this cooker has a self-clean function which helps to prevent build up and grease from collecting inside the oven.

The oven features European Convection meaning it will evenly cook whatever you place inside it. The broil element is recessed slightly to provide optimum safety.

The controls on this model are a combination of metal knobs and touch screen and because controls are on the front of the cooker, they could get caught on clothing so this is worth thinking about.

Helpful features including the warming drawer and the simplicity of a large door window so that you can easily check on the progress of your bakes without opening the door and letting the heat escape.

A fast pre-heat time means you won’t be waiting forever for this oven to warm up either.
