The Bosch Benchmark NITP069UC induction cooktop takes the top spot in our round up of the best induction cooktops. This is because of its variety of advanced features and unique, versatile design. The Bosch Benchmark NITP069UC induction cooktop has an extensive feature set, large burners and unique design. It also provides a handful of safety features, such as pan detection and a control lock to prevent as many injuries and burns as possible. Additionally, it features power boost capabilities on all four burners and a wide range of power that makes anything from simmering to rapidly boiling water fast and easy.

Bosch Benchmark NITP069UC induction cooktop: What you need to know

The four burners on the Bosch Benchmark NITP069UC induction cooktop range in power from 1,400 watts to 3,700 watts. Additionally, this Bosch induction cooktop is one of the few on our lineup that provides power boost capabilities on all four burners. The power boost increases the power on the burner and makes it possible to heat water at an even faster rate. However, even though all four burners feature the power boost, the burners are split into two groups, and only one element in a group may use the power boost at a time.

The burners range in size from 8 to 11 inches in diameter. The 11-inch burner is one of the largest heat elements we saw on this type of device, with many induction cooktops such as the Frigidaire Gallery 30" FGIC3066TB only going up to 10-inches. However, the Fridigaire is also significantly cheaper. The design of the heat elements in the Bosch Benchmark NITP069UC increases this cooktop's capabilities. There are two circular heat elements and a rectangular element that can be bridged together so you can use a griddle on the cooktop. This is great for differently-shaped cookware and versatile cooking options.

The Bosch Benchmark NITP069UC induction cooktop features an advanced timer that you can use for each individual element. When the timer for a specific element is done counting, the cooktop automatically shuts off that element. This is a standout feature, as many cooktops provide just a generic kitchen timer or do not include the automatic shut-off capabilities.

There is also a setting to keep food warm without overcooking the dish. This is the lowest setting available on the cooktop. The settings on this induction cooktop range in ability from warming and melting foods to frying and searing meats. You can choose from 17 different settings, which is an excellent variety. This also helps you choose the right temperature for the foods and prevents undercooking or burning dishes.

What's more, the Bosch Benchmark NITP069UC induction cooktop is also compatible with Wi-Fi and Smartphone apps. It's not compatible with Alexa, or the Google Assistant, but the Bosch Benchmark still offers smart features which let you check in on your cooktop from different rooms. As with other cooktops we reviewed, some have reported that this induction cooktop scratches easily. However, you won't need to scrub this cooktop clean, so as long as you use the appropriate cookware you should be fine.

Bosch Benchmark NITP069UC induction cooktop: Safety features

The safety features on the Bosch Benchmark NITP069UC induction cooktop met our full expectations. This induction cooktop features control lock capabilities to ensure it is not on when you don't want it to be. When it is not activated, you can set the control lock to ensure no buttons are accidentally pushed, and if it's activated and burners are in operation, you can use the control lock to ensure the temperature is not adjusted.

An indicator light on the surface of the cooktop alerts you when it is activated. This is not always necessary on an induction cooktop, as the surface is not designed to become hot. Additionally, if an element is activated and the cooktop does not detect a pan on the element, the cooktop automatically shuts off. This prevents the cooktop from using power when it is not needed and potentially causing injuries from sitting there with excessive heat for long periods.

Bosch Benchmark NITP069UC induction cooktop: Customer Support

The help and support resources you receive from Bosch are similar to those on comparable products. The cooktop is covered under a one-year manufacturer warranty for its parts and labor. If you do come across any concerns or problems with the device, you can reach a support representative via email or telephone. There is also the user manual available online for fast and easy access.

Should you buy the Bosch Benchmark NITP069UC induction cooktop?

The Bosch Benchmark NITP069UC is top range induction cooktop. It comes at a high price, as you'd expect with an induction cooker, but its energy-efficient features will offset this upfront cost (and then some) if you choose to invest. This induction cooker provides a handful of features such as power boost capabilities and 17 temperature settings to help you quickly and easily cook all your food. It also provides safety features that are ideal in any home, particularly if you have small children who may push buttons or attempt to reach the cooktop surface. Overall, the Bosch NITP069UC has all of the features we look for in this type of appliance and the resources you need to help you craft culinary delights.
