Alarm Zone is a registered dealer for GE’s wireless home surveillance system. They offer quality services for a reasonable monthly fee and throw in equipment, like keychain remotes, that competitors charge extra for.

When any of the wireless surveillance points in your home are breached, a signal goes out to Alarm Zone’s monitoring facility. If you don’t enter the alarm code, cancelling the alarm, Alarm Zone will call your home to check for a false alarm via a password. If they don’t receive a password for any reason, they will dispatch the police to your home. The entire process seems pretty quick and efficient. Our only qualm is that there are no interactive monitoring services available.

Alarm Zone’s basic wireless home surveillance system package comes with many more items than its competitors, and for a reasonably priced monthly fee. Upon signup you’ll receive three entry point monitors plus a motion detector, a yard warning sign and three window stickers. Security cameras are unfortunately not an option. However, the included command station has an internal siren, a keypad to customize settings and a backup battery. Best of all, two personal security devices (key fobs) are also included in the basic package.

Alarm Zone is lacking in their online help and support presence. Their website doesn’t have FAQs, live chat or email options. You have to do a little bit of digging, but you will also find a contact phone number on their website. There are several ways to contact them if you are interested in purchasing a wireless home surveillance system online. Probably owing to their GE-authorized status, even the most basic packages include a lifetime warranty on all equipment.

Alarm Zone is a wireless home surveillance system that seems to have a security plan to fit anyone’s needs. They offer comprehensive packages, great product warranties and 24/7 service. We only wish they had more customer-oriented options like interactive monitoring, online access to the home and a security camera option.
