Why you can trust Top Ten Reviews

The Dirt Devil Razor Vac is a contender for one of the best vacuum cleaners with few extras, but it performed well in our tests. It is lightweight and maneuverable and has good suction that effectively sucks up debris of all kinds, including pet hair. This is an affordable machine that is portable and easy to use. While it is lacking in design extras, it has all the attachments you will need.
This upright vacuum cleaner has a swivel head and moves around furniture and obstacles and over a variety of surfaces smoothly. It has a nice cleaning path of 12 inches, which is wide enough to cover a lot of ground but narrow enough that it fits into tight areas. Its light, compact frame will make it easy to carry to different areas in your house, including upstairs and downstairs, and it stores away nicely without taking up a lot of space.
This vacuum cleaner has plenty of suction power. It effectively cleaned up pet hair and all kinds of messes, including flour that was used to replicate fine dust as well as larger debris like kitty litter and cereal. Its suction power is manifest in its decibel reading as well. It was one of the noisier machines we tested at 90 decibels. For a quieter machine, consider the Bissell PowerGlide.
While the Razor Vac is short on design extras, it has a nice selection of accessories. Conveniently, the one extra it comes with is plenty of space for attachments on its frame. Attachments include an extension wand, upholstery tool, dusting brush, and crevice tool. These will help you clean hard-to-reach areas, and the attachments will always be organized and within reach.
Cleaning this machine and changing out the bag is extremely intuitive, with release buttons and filters in the right places. The dust cloud was relatively small when emptying this one.

Having well-contained dirt and debris is good, given that this cleaner doesn’t have true HEPA filtration or a sealed system. These features will trap dirt and particles in the vacuum and release cleaner air into your home. Despite its fairly pared-down feature package, this was a nice vacuum that did a good job of cleaning surfaces of all kinds.
The Dirt Devil Razor Vac is a compact, portable, upright vacuum that is both affordable and effective in cleaning your house. It has plenty of attachments that are within easy reach on the frame of the vacuum, so you can get to tight and hard-to-reach areas. It has plenty of suction power to clean up all kinds of mess on a variety of surfaces. This is a good vacuum with a basic feature package, including all the essentials most people need.
