The Casper Pillow Original was tested by both side and back sleepers, who said it worked well for them. One of our testers described the Casper as having “the perfect balance of support and softness", and it has now made our round-up of the best pillow for sleeping comfortably at night.
In our review, we put the pillow to the test in terms of support, comfort and shape, as well as value for money. Happily, you can often find the pillow on sale among the best Casper mattress deals, so it's worth keeping your eye out for these.
Casper Pillow Original review: Design
The Casper Essential Fiber Pillow is filled with a down alternative, so it’s a firm, fluffy pillow that's easier to clean, and it's a good choice for anyone who doesn't want to sleep on a down pillow. Because it's filled with a silky fiber material, the Casper Pillow isn’t heavy.
This pillow only comes in two sizes: standard and king. Both are a bit on the pricey side, with the standard size costing $65 RRP and the king size costing $85 RRP. But you do get 100 nights to sleep on it before deciding whether keep the Casper pillow or return it. Also, each Casper Pillow comes with a three-year warranty.

Casper Pillow Original review: Performance
The biggest complaint we heard from our panel of testers is that the Casper Essential Fiber Pillow tends to go a little flat after a while. However, when washed it tends to bounce back to its original shape, full fluffiness as though new out of the box.
Our testers love the wash-and-reuse capabilities of this pillow. In fact, the Casper is one of the few pillows we tested that is completely machine washable. However, if you’d prefer a down alternative pillow that keeps its shape long-term, consider the Beckham Hotel Collection Gel Pillow, which comes in a two-pack and is great value for money.
The Casper Pillow is a good choice for both back and side sleepers, as it delivers good support while still being soft and comfortable to lie upon. The down alternative filling gives this pillow the overall feel of a traditional down pillow without the extra weight. Our testers also said it stayed cooler at night than traditional down pillows, so it's ideal for hot sleepers.
