When reviewing the Snuggle-Pedic Ultra Bamboo to see if it's a worthy addition to our best pillows guide, our testers found that it generally has a good balance between firm support and squishy softness. Its filling is made from polyester fibers that are shredded finely to make it feel like down feathers. The filling is hypoallergenic making this a good choice for allergy sufferers.

Snuggle-Pedic Ultra Bamboo Pillow review: design
Many of our testers compared the Bamboo pillow to the Caspe Pillow pillow in terms of how it supports and feels. The Bamboo’s cover is made from a soft material that tends to breathe easier and keep you cooler at night while you sleep. It also doesn’t absorb oils as easily as other pillows and covers. The cover of this pillow is machine washable.
There are some drawbacks to this pillow that we discovered during testing. At night the filling moves and tends to bunch above your head creating a higher loft (or the height of your pillow) in that area. Our sleepers would turn the pillow around to take advantage of this higher loft. At first it provided good comfort and support to their neck, but as they slept, the poly-filling again moved out from under their head and built up this loft above them.
Snuggle-Pedic Ultra Bamboo Pillow review: performance
While the Bamboo by Snuggle-Pedic is comfortable and offers good support, we found the shifting of the poly-filling during the night was inconvenient. The filling is hypoallergenic, and the cover is breathable and machine washable.
You have 120 nights to test out this pillow before deciding to keep it or send it back. But despite this trial period and the included 20-year warranty, we feel the high price may be too much.
Snuggle-Pedic Ultra Bamboo Pillow review: verdict
The Snuggle-Pedic Bamboo is one of the most expensive pillows we've ever tested, yet our review panel didn’t feel the cost of this pillow was worth it, especially since you can get comparable support and comfort from cheaper bed pillows.
The Bamboo pillow does come with a 20-year warranty, and Snuggle-Pedic gives you 120 nights to try out this pillow before deciding if you want to keep it.
