ADKY RH0342 Range Hood: Features
The ADKY RH0342 Range Hood measures 30 inches, making it ideal for positioning above most cooktops. If you have a six-burner cooktop or a large range, however, you will need to consider a large range hood option.
The fan on the ADKY RH0342 Range Hood has three speeds and reaches 400 CFM (cubic feet per minute) making it equally as powerful as the ZLine KL2-36 Range Hood, although the ZLine model offers four fan speeds rather than three.
This range hood will do a great job of removing cooking fumes without making too much noise. It measures a maximum of 65 dB, which is pretty normal for a three-speed range hood fan.
Like many other models, the filters are removable on this range hood so that you can pop them in the dishwasher to keep them clean and free from grease build-up.
There are only two lights on the ADKY RH0342 Range Hood unlike the Frigidaire FHPC4260LS Range Hood, but the lights are positioned mid-way along each side of the range hood allowing for even brightness over your cooktop. Some other models only position the lights at the front.
The ADKY RH0342 Range Hood can either be mounted on the wall and then fitted so that it ventilates the cooking fumes out of the room and the house, or, alternatively, you can set this range hood to be ductless but you will need some additional parts to do so.
This range hood isn’t Energy Star rated so it may cost you more to run in the long run than a model that is compliant with Energy Star ratings.
