The ZLine KL2-36 Range Hood is a wall-mounted model that comes in a stainless steel finish. Measuring 36 inches, this range hood’s motor boasts a lifetime warranty, which is longer than we’ve seen on any other range hood we reviewed.

This ZLine range hood is suitable for large cooktops as it is powerful and has a large surface area too.

Available for under $400, this range hood certainly isn’t the cheapest you’ll find, but for the quality finish and decent warranty, it’s good value for money.

If you choose to go with the external venting option, this range hood comes with two 16-inch telescoping chimney pieces that are suitable for ceilings between eight and nine feet high. If your ceiling is higher or lower than that, you can get Short Kits and Extension Kits, but you will have to pay extra for those.

This range hood’s filters are made of stainless steel and can easily be removed and placed into the dishwasher, making keeping on top of cleaning really easy. The stainless steel finish is sleek and should match most kitchen appliances for a stylish look.

What’s more, the ZLine KL2-36 Range Hood has its light and fan controls on top of the hood. This is better placed than some other models we’ve reviewed as these controls are better for people who are taller and you won’t need to duck your head to see the controls.

The ZLine KL2-36 Range Hood is finished in stainless steel, however, which is prone to showing marks and fingerprints, so you might find you need to wipe it down or buffer out any finger marks fairly regularly.

The lights on the ZLine range hood are positioned at the back of the hood. They consist of bright LED lights that should provide ample lighting to light up your cooktop.

ZLine KL2-36 Range Hood: Warranty

The ZLine KL2-36 Range Hood comes with a three-year parts warranty and its motor has a lifetime warranty, which is very rare among range hoods.
