If you need a compact mower that’s easy to transport and store, the Cub Cadet RZT-L Zero Turn Riding Mower is worth considering. It provides high-powered performance coupled with a durable design and zero-turn technology. However, all that performance comes with a high price tag for a mower of this class.

A large 725-cc Koehler engine generates 23 hp for maximum torque and power. The riding mower tops out at a speed of 7 mph to run quickly through medium and large lawns and fields, and the dual hydrostatic transmission operates automatically for easy driving. These features and more make it worthy of its spot in our roundup of the best riding lawn mowers. As a zero-turn mower, the Cub Cadet is extremely maneuverable. Small shrubs, lawn decorations and the like are easy to avoid with the dual-control levers. While zero-turn mowers have wide bases, the wheels are of standard thickness and are not well suited for turning on hills.

This mower has a durable design and construction. The deck uses 12-gauge steel for superior protection against rocks and impacts. The deck's drive system features a Kevlar heavy-duty belt for long life and reliable performance. For added stability, the deck uses a float system that keeps it level as you drive. Cub Cadet's patented washer system lets you quickly pressure-wash the deck to remove buildup.

The adjustable blade height lets you select eight different positions from 1 inch to 4 inches high. The chassis and undercarriage use the same 12-gauge steel as the deck to protect the blades and machinery as you drive the riding mower.

For peace of mind and investment protection, the mower comes with a three-year or 120-hour ride time limited warranty.

Should you buy the Cub Cadet RZT-L Zero Turn Riding Mower?

As a strong, maneuverable mower, the Cub Cadet RZT-L Zero Turn Riding Mower is up to both residential and commercial applications. It's especially well suited for all-day riding comfort.
