The HP Workstation Xw6400 is a power packed computer worthy of the most daunting office tasks, and could even double as a gaming PC, should work become too boring.
It has 2 GB of memory right out of the box – plenty for multitasking – and the dual core 2.33 GHz Xeon processor is so fast you’ll never need to worry about running out of precious CPU cycles. The 80 GB hard drive will store enough MP3’s to tune out your colleague’s weekend dalliances, and if you can get away with it the built-in DVD drive will play that movie you need to get through the day.
The graphics card is a powerful NVIDIA Quadro FX 3500, complemented by 256 MB of onboard RAM, which will help display those polygons in your games, I mean, CAD software quickly and accurately. It also supports dual monitors, for those who like to work on more than one document at a time without alt-tabbing three thousand times a day. Network access is also speedy with the built-in gigabit Ethernet adapter, so transferring files won’t bog you down.
The HP Xw6400 is an excellent choice for a business computer, and one would be hard-pressed to find anything more powerful for the price.
