Webroot SecureAnywhere is among the best antispyware software products that are also complete antimalware. It is full of useful features, and you will receive good help and support. Webroot did not produce good test results for preventing malware attacks. However, it produced excellent results in tests to see whether it could disinfect PCs with actively running malware.
Webroot's performance when it comes to repair is second to none, according to AV-Test, an independent testing lab that publishes results from testing security software. AV-Test conducted continuous testing of Webroot among a batch of two dozen similar products during July and August of 2013. The protection tests examined how well Webroot was able to prevent brand-new malware, malware that was less than 90 days old and malware that had been in circulation for a longer time.
The usability tests examined whether Webroot slowed down systems and whether it incorrectly labeled or blocked safe software as if it were malicious. The tests where Webroot dominated had to do with its ability to repair computers where active malware had already taken up residence.
Webroot SecureAnywhere Antivirus features secure browsing, which means that it blocks phishing attacks and malicious websites. Webroot also has a firewall, antiphishing capability and protection from identity theft in that it blocks keyloggers and screengrabbers. An unusual aspect of Webroot is that it does not conflict with other security software. You can also use Webroot to make elaborate passwords that Webroot stores for you, and then you can safely log on to your favorite sites.
Webroot supports its users in a number of useful ways. There are videos on the Webroot website that help you with installation and show you how to create an account and how to manage passwords. There are other video tutorials, along with frequently asked questions and release notes. The Webroot support website provides a way for you to reinstall a product, and it makes product user guides available. Webroot SecureAnywhere is one of the best spyware removers. It has an excellent feature set and good help and support. It is particularly good when you need to repair computers that are already riddled with malware.
