The Dyson DC39 Multi Floor is a uniquely designed canister vacuum that is effective whether you use it as a carpet or a hard surface vacuum. Unlike conventional canisters, the DC39 does not have wheels, instead riding on a large ball. The ball design means you can change direction easily while pulling the DC39 behind you, and it makes the DC39 feel lighter than its true weight of 16.8 pounds.

The canister is made up of two parts: the ball, which houses the vacuum motor, and the cyclonic chamber, which includes the cyclones, the filter and the clear dustbin. After the air moves through the cyclone, it passes through a HEPA filter to remove any remaining micro-particles. This thorough filtration makes the DC39 useful if you suffer from allergies. The permanent filter has a lifetime-guarantee and requires only occasional rinsing with water to maintain. The lifetime filter combined with the bag-less design means you will never have to worry about buying replacement products.

The DC39 comes with a powered floor tool. The floor tool has a rotating brush bar that spins rapidly to agitate dirt out of carpets. If you do not want your hardwood floor vacuum to have a rotating brush bar, the floor tool has a button you can press on the handle to turn off the brush bar. The vacuum will continue to employ its powerful suction, but the brush will not spin. This means that if your home has especially fragile rugs or hardwood, the DC39 Multi Floor will clean those surfaces gently.

The DC39 ball is engineered to be sound insulated, so it is not as loud as other similarly powered vacuums. This is an especially helpful when using the DC39 as a hard floor vacuum, because hard floors amplify noise. The DC39 Multi Floor also comes with a combination crevice/brush tool and a stair tool, so you can clean furniture, curtains, stairs or anything else above floor level.

Dyson guarantees the DC39 with a five-year warranty, which gives you confidence in the build-quality of the vacuum. The Dyson DC39 Multi Floor's unique design results in a vacuum that is easy to use and a powerful wood floor vacuum cleaner.
