Easy Background Checks is run by a larger background check service called CrimCheck.com. Easy Background Checks doesn’t stand up to other companies in the people search category, though. The people searches are only mildly comprehensive compared to other services and the search system isn’t nearly as easy to use.
When conducting a people search through Easy Background Checks, you are required to have a first name, last name, age and state of residence for you search subject. This could prove troublesome to many people since they may not have much more than a name with which to do a search. You are able to preview results before buying from Easy Background Checks, but the reports don’t contain an address history, age or list of possible aliases and nicknames. While the reports still contain information on current address, phone number and possible relatives, they may not be as useful as more comprehensive reports from PeopleFinders or USA People Search . But the biggest problem with Easy Background Checks is the price of the service. You cannot buy all matching records like most other services; instead you buy a report on a single person that costs nearly as much as buying all matching records from other services.
Easy Background Checks has a fairly good support system, with phone support, email support and a FAQ for answering questions and solving problems. But that isn’t enough to make up for the mediocre service they provide.
