Thanks to design improvements, the Kenmore Intuition offers 20 percent more suction than previous Kenmore models do. It is equipped with a True HEPA filtration system that traps and contains dust, dirt and allergens, and you can say goodbye to replacing vacuum cleaner belts. The unique direct-drive motor design does not use one.

The Kenmore Intuition bagged vacuum cleaner has three motors. This help prevent suction loss if the bag fills with dust. It has an automatic shut off feature that protects the longevity of the suction motor because, if the roller brush is stuck on an object like a shoe, the primary motor remains unaffected. This helps the cleaner last longer.

As you clean, you can adjust the height of the cleaner to four different levels, depending on what type of floor you are vacuuming. The height control is located at the base of the machine, and you can adjust it with your foot, so you do not have to bend to reach it. It also has a brush-roller off switch that allows you to clean flat surfaces.

Although the machine has four height adjustments, it is hard to push through high-pile carpeting. It weighs 20 pounds and does not have many design features that enhance maneuverability. It also does not have a handle that lies flat to reach under beds or other low furnishings. You will need to move tables or use attachment tools to clean underneath them.

This upright vacuum cleaner comes with several accessories, including a combo dust and upholstery tool and a crevice tool. You also get an air-driven tool for cleaning stairs, upholstery and the insides of cars. This upright vacuum has a telescopic wand that can reach high bookshelves and ceiling cobwebs. The tools are stored on board, so you can reach them when you need them.

This vacuum comes with a one-year warranty, which is less than many other high-performance cleaners offer. We prefer machines with a three-year warranty or longer. The company has an email link and phone number on its website. It also has service center locations in most major cities.

This vacuum offers robust suction power and great filtration. It picks up embedded dirt and surface hair, and it cleans low-pile carpeting and bare floors well. However, the one-year warranty is shorter than we like, and its weight and design make it hard to maneuver on some carpets and under furniture.
